3rd Annual 8U TEXAS BLOWOUT Tournament

Previous Success:
2024 Spring - 8U with 32 Teams
2025 Spring - 8U with 32 Teams

This is a legitimate 5 game guarantee tournament with a max of 9 games spanning over 3 days! Friday night games are OPTIONAL for teams that want to start Friday night! 3 pool games into a double elimination bracket. 

Schedule: 
Friday -- March 13 - Optional pool games for teams that can play
Saturday – March 14 – Pool games in morning/afternoon and then bracket starts in the evening
Sunday – March 15 – Bracket games continue. 

11 All Turf Fields:
4 All Turf Fields at Allen Station Park in Allen, TX
4 All Turf Fields at Spirit Park in Allen, TX
3 All Turf Fields at Frontier Park in Prosper, TX

Cost:
$650 but NO Pay at the Plate for Umpires! 
We also provide softballs for the games to umpires!

Main Details:
Any parent or coach that gets ejected is gone the entire tournament. Not allowed inside the complex.
5 Game Guarantee (3 Pool Games + Double Elimination Bracket)
Teams will only play games on Friday night if they want to
No 8am Games!
Game balls provided to umpires for both teams to use!
No PAP. Umpires are paid by tournament director.
Tournament schedule set at least 2 weeks before the event!
Constant communication from TD so that the schedule is as favorable as possible.
The oldest player allowed to participate is a girl with a September 1st - 2016 birth year! 
ABSOLUTELY NO 2016 birth year girls born in Jan/Feb/Mar/Apr/May/Jun/Jul/Aug! 


Game Rules:
All pool games will be 60 min and finish the inning. Can end in a tie.
Bracket games will be 75 min and finish the inning.
Pool and Bracket games will end instantly when time expires IF the losing team doesn't have a chance to tie/win.
International Tie Breaker - Last batted out goes to 2nd base, 1 out, no count on batter. If the game goes another inning, then it will start with bases loaded and 2 outs. Courtesy runner can be last batted out or sub for catcher. 
You can bat 10, 11 with an EH or the entire lineup. (NO DP or Flex Allowed)
4 Outfielders MUST be in the OF. Umpires' judgement on what is considered OF. 
2 Defensive coaches can be in the OF in foul area
Run Rule – 10 after 3 - 8 after 4 – 7 after 5.
6 runs max per half inning
Back picks from catcher are NOT allowed.
STOP THE LEAD RUNNER! Getting the ball back into the pitcher's circle DOES NOT stop the play!
No bunting, slapping, slashing or stealing allowed
Player pitcher needs to have 1 foot inside the circle when pitch is thrown
If Coach pitcher gets hit with a live ball and it is NOT intentional then it is considered a dead ball and declared a no pitch
5 pitches or 3 swinging strikes. Unlimited last pitch foul balls
No Infield Fly Rule in affect
Coach pitcher cannot coach the players from the mound
Runners can leave at release from the coach pitchers throw

Facility Rules:
NO Dogs or any animals without service papers, NO overnight vehicles/RV’s allowed at the tournament sites
$10 Daily Gate Fee for EVERYONE above 18 except 3 coaches and players!
No metal spikes, no seeds of any kind, no bubble gum.
Outside food and drinks ARE allowed
Celina Location - No hanging items on the net behind home plate. Please bring a tripod. 
No Alcohol
Coaches are responsible for your fans. Abusive language or behavior WILL NOT be tolerated!


Tournament Breakdown:
5 Game Guarantee (3 Pool Games + Double Elimination Bracket)
Rings for bracket finalists and champions
MVP rings for pool play games
Coin flip for home team in pool play
Higher seed in bracket is home team
Undefeated team in bracket championship is home team
Seeding goes off of in order - record, head to head, runs allowed, runs scored


Rain Policy:
All complexes are full turf! However, lightning and continuous rain could be an issue.
No games played 100% refund
1 game played 70% refund
2 games played 40% refund
3 or more games played – No refund
