Please distribute this information to your teams, parents, and players to review before they arrive at the ballpark.
Game Info: Fri. July 4th Padres vs. Rangers @3:40PM
Who Can Participate: ONLY uniformed players and up to 2 coaches per team can participate in the parade.
Directions for Parents/Coaches: To prevent congestion around the gate area be sure to adhere to the following:
• Home Plate Gate will open at 1:30 PM; coaches should arrive early
• Each parade participant should have their own ticket.
• Teams should gather prior to entering the queue at the Home Plate Gate.
• Once in the ballpark, players and coaches will be directed to their designated corrals.
• Parents and families must head into the seating bowl after entering the ballpark.
• Due to limited space, no one will be able to congregate at the Home Plate Plaza.
• Coaches are responsible for escorting players throughout the entirety of the parade.
• At the end of the parade, players will exit at the right field foul pole into Park Blvd Gate Plaza where they can meet up with their parents and family or walk with their coaches to their seats.
What to Wear: All players and coaches must be in uniform to participate in the parade. We recommend that players wear tennis shoes - cleats will not be permitted.
Parade Logistics
• The parade corral entrance is only accessible from inside the Home Plate Gate. (Please Refer to Map)
• All participants must be in the corrals by 2:15 PM. The parade will start promptly at 2:30 PM.
• Nonparticipants must drop the child with their coach and move out of Home Plate Plaza and into the seating bowl
• Those wanting to take photos are encouraged to watch from either Left Field or Right Field for the best vantage points (sections 126-134 & 131-137)
• Team and League banners can be presented during the parade; however, banners cannot contain any corporate or sponsor logos and must be folded away during the game. Poles to hold up the banner are not allowed.

Please Note: To get the large number of participants through the parade route in a timely manner, the Padres ask that coaches always keep their team moving. No photos will be allowed on the field during the parade.
The pregame parade is a special opportunity for your team to be on the field at Petco Park. We ask that you adhere to the parade guidelines noted above to make this a memorable event for ALL groups participating.
