Welcome to Portland, Texas – the rising star of Gulf Coast baseball! With state-of-the-art fields, passionate fans, and a community that lives and breathes the game, Portland has quickly become one of Texas’ most exciting destinations for youth baseball.

This summer, the NCS South Coast World Series will bring teams from across the U.S. together for five days of big-time competition, pin trading, skills contests, and unforgettable memories. Add in Portland’s coastal charm, family-friendly vibe, and proximity to Corpus Christi beaches, and you’ve got the perfect stage for a championship experience on and off the field.

Divisions & Pricing

• 5U–18U: All divisions are pay at the plate 

  • Early Bird Rate Phase 1: $395.00 (teams must register and pay by the posted deadline) - January 1st

    Early Bird Rate Phase 2:  $495.00 (teams must register and pay by the posted deadline) - April 30th

• • Early Bird Rate Phase 3:  $595.00 (teams must register and pay by the posted deadline) - May 31st.

• • Early Bird Rate Phase 3:  $695.00 (teams must register and pay by the posted deadline) - June 30, 2026.

• • Regular Rate: $795.00 (effective July 1, 2026)

Stay & Play Policy 🏨

This event is a Stay & Play tournament. All teams are required to book their lodging through official NCS-approved hotel partners. Booking links will be provided once blocks are confirmed to ensure the best rates, team-friendly policies, and proximity to the venues. 

• A minimum of 6 hotel rooms per team, per night is required to meet the housing requirement.

• Teams wishing to stay in an Airbnb or non-partner hotel may do so by paying the buyout fee of $1,000 USD.

• Buyout payments can be made through:

• Please include Team Name, Division, City, and State with your payment.

• 5 Game Guarantee

• Most teams play more than 5 games

UMPIRE FEES (Pay At Plate) Cash Only:

🔹 PAP = Pay-at-Plate (cash only) — paid at the plate meeting before each game
⚠️ Game clock starts immediately after the plate meeting

⚾ Baseballs Provided

• Up to 3 new baseballs per game provided

• Teams must provide backups once issued baseballs are used, lost, or not returned

• Arrive the day before Opening Day

• Depart the day after Championships

• No game-time requests can be accommodated

All payments are final. No refunds will be issued. In the event of unforeseen circumstances (including weather), tournament credits may be considered at the sole discretion of the event director.
